Barnes Film Festival is working in partnership with the London Wetlands Centre and Olympic Cinema, and will take place between the 2nd and 4th September in Barnes, London. The Festival’s major draw will be a filmmaking competition, which is open to young people from all backgrounds throughout London. The competition is split into age categories: Under 12s, 13-18s and 29-25s, and all submissions must have an environmental ‘Air and Water’ theme.

As well as a competition, the Festival will be hosting a range of other activities open to all, including filmmaking workshops, screenings (including the Big Barnes Picture Show), a gala opening night and closing ceremony. We hope it will be the first of many to take place in Barnes.

They are looking for sponsors, filmmakers/environmentalists, volunteers and people to run workshops. Email to get involved!
